Two American athletes represented the United States at the 2026 United Knife and Axe Throwers Knife and Axe Throwing World Cup in July in Carpi, Italy. Natalie Savage Murray of New York and Pamela Kenitzer of Michigan joined approximately 150 competitors from 22 countries at the international championship, hosted by the Compagnia del Coltello Throwing Club.

Murray, a three-time World Cup competitor and the first woman named Thrower of the Year, previously won bronze medals in both the 5-meter and 7-meter precision knife throwing events. She also serves as the U.S. knife throwing ambassador. Kenitzer, of Allegan, Michigan, made her World Cup debut following strong performances in the Women With Knives leagues. Both athletes are active in growing the sport of competitive knife throwing nationally.
