In search of some of the best in knives, and/or wanting to connect or reconnect with new/old friends? If you live near Ozark, Missouri, or Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, both areas will have knife shows this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Country Cupboard Inn just north of Lewisburg will host the 23rd Annual Keystone Blade Association Knife Show on Saturday and Sunday. The Country Cupboard Inn is on Rt. US 15, four miles south of Interstate 80. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Last week Master Smith Jim Crowell and his wife Jenny were the featured guests on the TV Show “Talkin Outdoors” which featured the topic “The Art of Knife Making”. The TV show is hosted and produced by Steve “Wildman” Wilson who is with Arkansas Game and Fish. During the interview Master Smith Crowell talks about bladesmithing, the American Bladesmith Society, and describes the testing requirements for Journeyman Smith and Master Smith ratings in the ABS.
During the interview there are video clips shown of Jim chopping 2×4’s in half, and wife Jenny cutting a free hanging rope with one of Jim’s Bowie knives. In addition, there is a video clip of Master Smith Lin Rhea at a meeting of bladesmiths giving a forging demonstration which is narrated by Jim Crowell.
