Originally designed to celebrate the 80th anniversary for A. E. Coltellerie (1925-2005), this series has become one of their top selling SOS knives. The square ended blade optimizes cutting plates, fabrics, and cardboards, and is additionally useful with a "combo" edge--being partially serrated and partially plain. It also is built with dual-pegs and a slot to aid opening with either hand and with gloves. The handle includes a built-in socket slot to directly handle several sizes of hex bolts, a hexagonal hole with neodymium magnet to insert standard 1/4" (6.35mm) bits, a screw-driver/glass breaking tab, and a lock to hold the blade securely open. This version includes the "Rescue Lab" logo laser etched into the handle.
