Made in the Ukraine, the stones are designed to hone steel with hardnesses up to 62 HRC, which covers most of the modern super steels. The 8×2.8-inch stones use aluminum oxide as the cutting medium and a vitrified binder, and the company pre-laps the stones to ensure a smooth working surface.
